About the Founder, Stephan Van Wyk At the age of 18, Stephan joined his brother in the fenestration industry, where they manufactured windows, french doors, sliding doors, pivot doors, and various other aluminium and glass structures. Stephan eventually took on installation work himself, as he preferred being outdoors rather than confined to an office, and being young, he didn’t consider that path at the time. As the years went by, the brothers parted ways, and Stephan began working as a contractor for a large company in Johannesburg, South Africa, which is still operational today. He managed his own projects and teams, quickly advancing in his career.

Later, his brother invited him to join a new venture with his partner, which flourished and kept them extremely busy. Stephan served as the installation manager for a couple of years before relocating to the UK. In the UK, he was introduced to the glass partition sector, which he had not encountered in South Africa. He worked for a glazing and labour company for 18 months but left due to a lack of growth opportunities. Subsequently, he joined a small glass partition company similar to Glass Elements, where he oversaw installations, managed fit outs personally, ordered materials, scheduled jobs with clients, and often worked late into the night, sometimes until midnight or even 1 AM.

Despite his hard work, he felt unrecognised and decided it was time to start his own venture. With only his last pay check and a small loan to settle some debts, he launched his business in November 2021. He often reflects on why he didn’t take the leap sooner. Driven by his passion for work, he invests a lot of effort to ensure he delivers the best results. Now, his company has been operating for just over three years, growing at a steady pace. He isn’t rushing the process and is genuinely happy with where they stand today.
